Bubble tea, tea houses, Asian bakeries and dessert shops in this group are usually walk-in, counter-order businesses with a menu board overhead listing sweetness and ice levels you can adjust when ordering. Standard bubble tea customization includes sugar level (0-100%), ice level, and a choice of toppings like boba pearls, pudding or jelly, usually at a small extra charge. Asian bakeries sell items individually with tongs and a tray, cafeteria-style, rather than pre-boxed, and pastries are typically less sweet than Western bakery items. Lines build up quickly after school and in the evening, especially near colleges. Most of these businesses accept cards and mobile pay and skew younger in clientele and atmosphere.

I absolutely love Asrar Paris Bakery! Everything about this place is amazing. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and their desserts are just incredible. I tried their mango and pistachio fruit desserts, and they were beyond delicious, with such rich, flavorful layers that really stood out. Their croissants are also a must-try. I’ve gone back multiple times just for them. They’re perfectly crispy on the outside with beautiful, delicate layers inside. You can really taste the quality. 10/10 and I would definitely recommend this bakery to anyone looking for delicious, high-quality pastries!

I happened to drive by this new French bakery and the outside immediately caught my attention it looked amazing. When I went inside, it was even better. The bakery smelled exactly how you’d hope a bakery would smell, and all the desserts looked absolutely delicious. I walked in right as they were refilling some of the display trays, which made it clear that everything is made fresh in house. The woman who helped me was very friendly and even told me about their rewards program where you get one free dessert after buying six. My wife and I tried the mango cheesecake and the mango fruit sweet, and both were excellent, light, fresh, and not overly heavy. We really enjoyed them and are looking forward to coming back to try the rest of the desserts!
